The new landscaping looks great! So I guess all the waiting around and overseeing everything was worth it in the end. Right? Did the gardening people do the design or did you guys come up with it?
The landscaper has a landscape architect that he uses to draft the designs but we had come up with almost the same thing. The yard is narrow at one end and then fans out at the other so there isn't much room for creativity! It turned out good and all the waiting around was worth it although I thought I was going to lose my mind there for a while.
What a beautiful yard! I'm always envious of those who can maintain this kind of landscaping... if it was up to me it'd be all grass all the time. And the gardener would cut it.
Paul -- thanks! It is new, we just had it done -- note, HAD IT DONE! I am not sure how it will be to maintain -- a pain, I am sure. As far as the rest of the yard goes -- we live in a garden home community and our HOA dues go to lawn maintenance. So, except for the flower beds, we don't have to mess with it. That is a good thing because my husbands interest in yard keeping is almost nil and my thumb is definitely not green! We could really be condo folks but I do love me some vintage houses!
