And the question is --- what, if any, kind of music do you listen to when you're reading?
And the answer is -- none! I usually have the television on or nothing at all. I prefer nothing at all but in the evening, that isn't the case around here. I have tried listening to internet radio while reading but it doesn't work so well because I tend to fiddle around with the radio instead of reading!

I have to have quiet when I am reading. If I can hear music I tend to listen to it, and just can't concentrate. Hubby can read and listen to music at the same time.

Jane -- I know what you mean. That is probably why, when we sit down of an evening, he with the tv and me with the book -- I just fall asleep! I can't concentrate because of all the background noise -- and it is noisy -- he is a fan of Steven Segal movies and, coupled with Hubs deafness, it is just loud and not conducive to a good read.
It's important to totally immerse ourselves in our reading...and sometimes background music helps, while other times, not so much.
Here's MY THURSDAY MEMES POST
