It's A Revolution!

Jane at The Maple Syrup Mob invited all her friends to participate in Astra's Happiness Revolution.  The rules are easy -- grab the button and then list ten things that made you happy this month and share! So, here goes!

1.  The beautiful weather we have been having

2.  Being able to spend time with my granddaughter

3.  Having the Hubs home all the time now

4.  Watching Hubs re-landscape the back garden

5.  Talking to my son

6.  Spending time with my daughter

7.  The beautiful service and fun egg hunt at church this morning

8.  Being healthy

9.  having good books to read

10.  the 1940 US census on line!!

The list could be much longer but I am only allowed 10!  This is an exercise we should all do on a more regular basis -- accentuate the positive, as the song goes.

Isn't this great? A brilliant idea Astra!

Nice post! One thing I'm extremely happy about is that the tornadoes missed you guys. Hope they don't come back.

I tried keeping a "Happiness Book" for a while -- writing down one or two things that made me smile each day. I guess I'm just too much of a pessimist because I only made it through about a month, and that was it. So sad.

Anyway, hope you have a very happy Monday, Cuzzie!

Joy -- oh yes, I am happy about the tornadoes missing us too although they were awfully close and Brandon's car did get really messed up. There were, at final count, 14 tornadoes and that is 14 too many for my liking!

I probably should keep a happiness journal, too, because I possess the same pessimistic traits as you (pesky genetics!) and some days it is hard to find anything although I am sure every day has something -- maybe keeping track of it would be a good thing!

Update

Ok, so we visited our cardiologist yesterday to get the lay of the land for the Hubs.  Seems there is an issue with one of the grafts from ...
