Again with the Snow/Ice

Princess matching with Mom whose school was closed to day due to ....well, see below

several hours of snow and ice fell last night into this morning -- winter wonderland equals giant mess
We have had seven inches of show and ice.  I am stranded at my daughter's house.  I hope to get home sometime before Saturday.  I am not gone, just snowed in.  Yuck

Julie -- yes, I wasn't counting on this! I need to get some winter gear -- been in North Texas for 25 years and still not with the program.

Those pictures make me glad I'm in the UK! your blog is a revelation to me - I never knew Texas had weather anything like that!

Mary -- well, Texas is very large so the weather varies all across the state. I grew up and lived the first 40 years of my life in south Texas and many winters all we wore were sweaters - very tropical. In 1990 I moved to north Texas and winter has been a source of aggravation every year. It is times like this that I would like to just pack up (or sell out) and move home but my children wouldn't let me take the grandchildren and not being near them would be a greater hardship!

Gill -- hopefully it is almost over with here -- I mean, Daylight Savings time is Sunday and that signals summer to me!

 Yes, it has been a month — and what a month it has been.  Long story short all the grafts from my husbands bypass surgery have disappeared ...
