Not sure the rain is over and isn't that a sad tree in the property behind us? |

isn't there an old saying about red skies at morning, sailor take warning? |

So, my thoughts for today are on doing some batch cooking and beginning a new quilt. Also, maybe starting some autumn cross stitch. We will see how it goes.
Have a wonderful Thursday!

WOW! You have cooled off!
I think your rain has made it here...it's pouring, with no let up forecast all day, with severe thunderstorm warnings to spice things up a bit.
We're going from 40C (including humidex) to 15C overnight.

Jane, it feel glorious outside today! I have to say, though, that our highest temps didn't come until late in the summer and have actually not lasted as long as they have in the past. Now, this weekend we are supposed to get up into triple digits again but with another cold front on Monday. I think our weather has broken and is winding down and, even though I am not complaining at all about the summer, I am ready to get on with fall just because I love fall!
