I set up my stable last night too. No figures yet (mine is an "Advent" calendar with one figure a day) but the first animal will be in the fields tomorrow.
She didn't want to stop with the stable but I had to remind her that Advent is a process -- and of course, there was conversation about what happened last year with the shepherd -- opps! Don't think that will happen again. Hope not anyway!

Advent is all about waiting and hoping: or in today's terms "delayed gratification." :)
What a beautiful Advent candle holder. Your granddaughter will have a wonderful tradition to look back on when she grows up.
Enjoy the Season! :)
