The Torrents of Spring by Ernest Hemingway

I decided, after "Peaches", to read something of substance so I chose "The Torrents of Spring" by Ernest Hemingway.  A short read, it was.  I was done in a couple of hours and it was entertaining, humorous, a paraody of the authors of Hemingway's early career.

I would recommend if you are wanting to explore Hemingway's works and style.  It was an easy read, it flowed well, it held my interest, I thought it a little odd but all in all I would recommend.

There are always an abundance of books to read, aren't there? I'm reading Smoky House by Elizabeth Goudge. For book club we are going to read Rebecca. It'll be the second time for me, but it's been a long time since I read it for the first time.
