Agatha Raisin and the Day the Floods Came

Just finished reading "Agatha Raisin and the Day the Floods Came".  Typical Agatha, typical cozy mystery but it was good, as usual.  I love these little mysteries because they are easy to read, not long and you can just immerse yourself in them.  I have enjoyed all of them so far and I am reading them in order of publication.

This particular title I borrowed from the public library via my kindle.  I just love doing that as I don't have to worry about taking the book back and it is so easy to check them out with Overdrive.  I love it.

My next title?  Hmmmm....not sure.  My daughter was talking about "The Sun Also Rises" by Ernest Hemingway.  Might have to give it a go -- maybe from the library!

It is raining out and a quiet day -- need to get another title going.  What a perfect day for it.

Hello BB! I could sit and read for hours but I just haven't been making time for it because of all the current distractions around here! I love Overdrive, too!

I will be better at sitting and reading when the weather changes. Right now, I read in snatches while I am sitting in the school pick up line or a bit between activities. I just need cooler, more cuddly weather to sit for long periods. Oh, and I need my knees to ache less -- I find I keep having to get up and move around because my knees hurt.

When I was going up and down the stairs moving things for our bedroom redo, I was very aware of my knees. I think that's why I am moving back into the finished room SO slooooooowly.

Thank you for letting me know there's a new Agatha...she is such fun! I've seen one of the new Agatha's on television and enjoyed it greatly although that beautiful actress doesn't resemble MC's Agatha at all!

Thistle Cove Farm -- I know! the casting doesn't seem at all right, does it? I enjoy the tv show though -- not as much as the books, however! Enjoy!

Ok, so we visited our cardiologist yesterday to get the lay of the land for the Hubs.  Seems there is an issue with one of the grafts from ...
