And then it ends and I am sorry because I am struck about how powerful the story really was. This was the case with this book as well.
It is the story of the Whitshank family—Red and Abby and their four children. The story travels back to the story of the previous generation as well. It is the story of everyday life and death, coming of age, secrets—the stuff of life.
I recommend.

I must read faster. My stack of books to read keeps getting higher and I keep adding to my list of books I want to request at the library ( like this Anne Tyler one). Just today I picked up 2 very interesting looking ones at a garage sale.
We have a used book store here that is my downfall. However I discovered the other day that some of them are cheaper on Kindle and my first choice is always the library.
