It is Thursday! I don’t know if that is a good thing or not but it is a gorgeous day and promises to be nice all day except for the wind that is going to start blowing with a coming cold front. As long as there is no ice involved, I am good.
I thought I would share with you how my day starts—
My fur baby. Her new bed is coming today and I will share that with you later. I was skeptical about getting a dog at this point in my life and some days are challenging but for the most part she is a blessing and a joy to have in the family. And my day starts with taking care of her needs.
In the past I have participated in these questionnaires that give information about you for that particular day. I stopped because, apparently, I am a creature of habit and not much changes for me on a day to day basis. However, reading the blog Joyful Chaos, my interest was piqued again so here we go.
Currently—
Reading: the sixth book in the Coming Back to Cornwall series. Also reading Wildwood (I will 8 never finish this one) and Home of the Brave with Bean for school.
Watching: Bean doing school on the computer. Technology can be so good and yet so bad. I tried to insert a photo but it won’t let me.
Listening: to A video about Lewis and Clark
Wearing: jeans, tunic tee and loafers, glasses, no makeup
Baking: I have been experimenting with bar cookies
Cooking: ugh
Wishing: our society would calm down
Crafting: trying to get back to cross stitch
Cleaning: uh, not today
Disliking: no strong dislikes, except maybe covid
Loving: my family
So, folks, that is me today. I will try again next Thursday and see if anything changes.

I like that questionnaire! You are dressed better than I am. I have a raggedy shirt and cut-offs from gray fleece pants. It's a sight. But like you, I am needing to get back to cross stitching!
Hi, Merry! Well, I have to leave the house to take care of my granddaughter so I had to get dressed but trust me, it wasn’t anything spectacular.
Nothing much is happening here either and the questionnaire gives some ideas what to post. It's nice to know what others are keeping busy with.
Hi, GM! It is very quiet here in my little world. I am thankful for that because the outside world seems to be rather intimidating. I will just stay in here.
