Melissa's Thoughts for the Week
I like doing memes so I decided to take a cue from my daughter (http://thewilcoxfamily.wordpress.com) and make up my own. Each week she posts a list of her thoughts for the week. It is great so I thought I would try it myself although I am sure her thoughts are much more profound than mine will be! So, here goes --
Melissa's Thoughts for the Week
It is hotter in North Texas than South Texas -- who knew?
I raised two really good kids and am so proud of them.
Loved seeing all three of my grandkiddos together -- wonderful group
Was dreading DH's looming retirement but, on further review, maybe not.
Is still not complaining about the dreadful weather but......
Is realizing she is never going to be thin again
Is accepting that she is ALWAYS going to fall asleep at 9 pm whether she is laying down or not
I realizing that her love/hate relationship with her Nook is definitely leaning more to the "hate" side of things.
And finally -- wonders when she is ever going to stop trying to get organized -- shouldn't I, at my advanced age, have already done that?

I'm sorry about the love/hate Nook thing. I probably would have gotten a Nook if Michael hadn't surprised me with the iPad - which I really like a lot, so far (Amazon let me download a free Kindle app, so now I've got that in addition to the Apple reader). But I don't think you're alone - apparently a lot of people are having Nook problems.
Yes, I'm wondering about that "getting organized" question, too. Michael keeps talking about getting things organized for moving (whenever), and I just smile and keep playing with my electronic devices.
I know it is not the nooks fault -- it is the person who designed it. I am trying very hard to not assign human characteristics to an inanimate object but it is difficult when you name the thing! The other thing that is bothering me, aside from the glitching and crashing and whatnot is that the last six books I have looked to download aren't available! That isn't working for me.
Yeah, I am thinking that I am about as organized as I am going to get.
