I haven't been here since Thursday but things have gotten chaotic around here. My MIL went to the emergency room on Friday, was admitted to the ICU on Saturday and was moved to a hospice unit at another hospital this afternoon.
We have had two episodes that we thought she was passing on but she rallied and is still with us. She is terminal, there is no hope of recovery but the little lady just keeps on keeping on. She is strong and determined.
I will return when it is appropriate.

Thank you, Mary! She is fighting this hard. All her children have given her permission to continue on her journey but it seems she has had some loose ends to tie up. She is trying to talk and telling them that her funeral is paid for and some bill is due on the 7th (opps, guess we missed that) and naming her grandchildren. She is fighting all the way -- we have thought three times the end is near and each time she has rallied. We will see what today brings as they called a bit ago and said that she is in another decline. She just needs to let go and let God -- not to be cliched.
