In 1961 we went to California on a train. My dad had some work to do there and my mother wouldn't fly so going by rail was what we did. It was fun. My mother didn't agree.

Thanks to reading your and everyone else's sheet day washing schedule, I'm more motivated than ever to get those sheets changed! I do love clean sheets... Why didn't your mother think the train ride was fun? I'm not a fan of biscotti at ALL, but my son loves it and is always asking for some...I don't get the appeal!
"Monday is sheet day." You remind me of my Cousin Rose. She insists that Monday is laundry day. I tried to explain to her that in this condo building, I share the facilities with 23 other residents and if we can't all possibly do laundry on Monday. She still seemed to think it was sacrilege.
I love clean sheet day. I am so comfortable in the bed!

I'm with you--I don't often have good hair days. :(
I don't wear scents, either. In fact, my friends don't wear scents when they come visit me! They all know how much it sets off my asthma.
Ha! "I never have a good hair day" sounds exactly like something I'd say. In fact, I'm sure I have said it at some point. Why is it we women never like our hair and always wish for the opposite of what we've got?
