I guess I have just reached that time in my life that we start seeing the loss of family and friends — since November I have lost —
Robbie - cousin
Michael - cousin
Larry - classmate and Michaels brother
Jane - cousin
Mike - classmate
Tobby Lee - cousin
Rudy - friend
Jorgen - friend/kids teacher
It was startling when I realized that since November I have lost 8 friends/family/classmates — besides being sad it seems like a lot. I think these things sort of happen in clumps but I think it needs to stop for a while.

I agree that losing 8 friends/acquaintances in such a short time seems a bit much. We've reached that age where we regularly check the obits in our local paper as well as the obits from our hometown paper. It's sad when you discover that yet another person you know has passed away.

Since I posted this there have been two more. It is mind boggling.
