Right Here Right Now

It is Monday and I am up very early.  So, I will share my right here, right now —

What am I wearing — a Nighty that looks more like a dress — I could walk outside and not be at all inappropriate

What am I reading — I finished the 3rd book in the Seven Sisters series so while I am waiting for the fourth to be released I am reading the latest book in the Made in Savannah Series — A Pirates Wife

What is happening in my kitchen — nothing

What is outside my window — my scary back yard, still dark

What I am thankful for — I live in a state of gratitude so I am just a thankful person in general but this morning I am especially thankful for the sweet conversation I had with my granddaughter yesterday. She is 13, open conversations don’t happen that often at that age and it was a blessing

What am I smelling — nothing — again, allergies

What I am hearing — the garbage truck just came down the street and punctured the beautiful silence

What I am crafting — nothing right now but I did hem a dress yesterday

What is on my mind — my granddaughter — she is growing up so fast and is so full of insecurities and questions.

Words to live by —
